Some say the US economic recovery is complete. Unemployment has reached low levels. Equities have seen records highs, but are now in turmoil. For pension funds and investors looking for good asset returns the question is where do the markets go from here and where should investors look for returns?

With all of the new financial regulation designed to reduce risk for investors and taxpayers has risk been reduced, or is systemic risk still lurking in our financial system? What has all this structure and process cost us? Is it worth it? Are the markets telling us anything?

Come and hear Cliff Asness on risk and return.
